This is the 2nd test page! Hello, I'm Mirran Coull and this is my website. I am training as an Illustrator at the Willem de Kooning Academy, but I work mainly in costume. You can find examples of my work under the portfolio tab; you can click into the projects to see more photos and some behind the scenes! I love to work with characters, creatures, and whimsical little worlds.

All I want to do is create engaging “mini” worlds for people to enter into and believe in. When I say mini worlds, I don’t mean literally small but more a microcosm world, The worlds I enjoy making reflect back at people in specific ways. I often find the strangest parts of myself; the parts I believe are singular experiences to me are often the things people most resonate with in my work.

I didn’t want this website to be purely a professional portfolio though, that doesn’t really suit who I am at the moment. I wanted to also share a little bit about my day-to-day life and the things that inspire my work. I am making this website from scratch in HTML which is a new thing for me! it's mostly agony but when it works it's very rewarding.
